Creating Effective and Sustainable Leadership
The workshop touches upon the generative leadership distinction that were originally developed by management and leadership pioneer, Robert Dunham, founder of Institute for Generative Leadership, through decades of executive management experience and these are grounded in 30 years of study and practice in the Ontological discipline.
These powerful distinctions articulate the actions, skills, practices, capacities, and way of being, which, if adopted, practiced, and embodied, answer the question: “What is Effective Leadership and how do I produce it?”
What makes these distinctions Generative in that they are observable (you can see them), learnable (you can learn them), executable (you can perform/demonstrate them), and measurable (they can be measured) and they produce the outcomes that people call “leadership”. This is in direct opposition to the common notion that ‘leaders are born, not made’.
The Promise
There is a common misunderstanding about what leadership is. Leadership is not about your position in an organisation, or society. Leadership is a way of being and acting – moment to moment.
In this workshop, you will get what powerful leadership is and how you can produce powerful leadership in your life, in your teams, in your communities and in your organisation.
