Managing Capacity, Managing Promises and Achieving Extra-Ordinary Results

In this workshop we will build interpretations for actions to better manage your capacity to fulfill your promises and to make your promises more valuable. This is a skill for which every manager, and every executive is responsible, to both their customers and their team members.

In making and managing promises, we get you to look at the promise of the eventual future consequence that is of value to your line manager / customer. We are not looking for a promise of engaging in some activity in which the result is not articulated or clear. This is about promises for results. In this workshop, you will learn to be a designer of action, an observer of action (and of missing action), an actor in executing action, and a leader and manager of action. You will gain various important distinctions of managing capacity and making and managing promises.

Amongst other things, the result will be that you will develop trust with your colleagues and customers. You will fulfill more of your promises and have fewer breakdowns.

The Promise

We will reconstruct your understanding of simple distinctions, for example, what is action?, what does it mean to manage capacity?, what does promise really mean, and the impact of how you manage your promise on your public identity, your success, your trust and relationships and your self esteem.

After this program. you will manage your promises and your capacity more effectively. You will start to take effective actions for results.

Generative Leadership in Organizations will show you a new way of seeing and will enable you to see organizations newly as shaped by generative acts, based on the perspective that language is generative, and not just descriptive.
